How do I measure my room for a new carpet?

To get an accurate measurement, measure the longest and widest points of your room, including any alcoves or doorways. We recommend adding 10cm to both the length and width to allow for trimming and a perfect fit.

Do you offer a professional fitting service?

Yes, Wilsons Carpets works with a network of experienced, independent fitters. You can arrange for professional installation at the time of purchase, and the fitters will ensure your flooring is laid to the highest standard.

What is the typical delivery timeframe?

Most in-stock carpets and flooring are delivered within 3 to 7 working days. Once your order is processed, our delivery team will contact you to schedule a convenient date and time slot.

Can I order samples before making a full purchase?

Absolutely. We offer a sample service so you can see and feel the quality of our carpets, laminate, or vinyl in your own home lighting before committing to a full order.

What is your return policy for cut-to-size flooring?

Please note that carpets and flooring cut to your specific dimensions are classified as bespoke items and cannot be returned unless they are faulty. We encourage ordering samples to ensure you are happy with the color and texture.

Does my new carpet require an underlay?

While some felt-backed carpets can be laid directly, we highly recommend a high-quality underlay. It improves comfort underfoot, provides better thermal insulation, and can extend the lifespan of your carpet by up to 50%.
